1. ALL
SITES WILL BE ASSIGNED BY THE PARK OFFICER.
ALTHOUGH YOU MAY RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION, NO SPECIFIC SITE CAN BE
GUARANTEED. THE CAMPSITE MAY
NOT BE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO
2. A separate reservation must be submitted for each campsite.
A separate reservation must be made for each period of time desired.
A renewal past the reservation period cannot always be guaranteed.
Full payment must accompany the reservation.
3. Mailed reservations must be received by the park at least seven
days prior to the beginning of the desired camping period in order to
receive a mail confirmation.
4. Holiday
reservations must be made for the minimum period of three nights.
5. Reservations may be made by mail OR in person.
6. A campsite can be occupied by only: (a) one family consisting of
father and/or mother and unmarried children. (b) one group consisting of no more
than eight individuals. No more than
one primary unit on a site. (If you
would like to place a secondary TENT on your lot in addition to your camping
unit please check with the park staff.)
7. If it is necessary to cancel a reservation, it may be done by mail or
in person at the parks headquarters and must meet all deadlines and requirements
as stated.
8. If notice of cancellation is received at least 24 hours prior to
beginning of reservation period, all charges except a $10 cancellation fee will be
refunded.
9. If notice of cancellation is received less than 24 hours prior to
beginning of reservation period, the camper forfeits the
minimum nights camping fee.
10. After the reserved campsite has been occupied, no refund will be made
for the minimum nights. If camper
fails to claim his reservation or fails to cancel the reservation, no refund
will be made.

If the fee is increased after reservation is confirmed, camper agrees to
pay the difference at time of arrival.
13. Newaygo County Parks Vehicle Permit is required for entry into the park and may be
purchased at the park. No more than two vehicles are allowed per site.
14. Launch Permits are required for use of the boat launch.
15. Dogs shall be kept on a leash AT ALL TIMES.
Pets are NOT ALLOWED in the swimming and picnic areas.
No pets are allowed to be left unattended.
If a pet is left unattended it will be report to animal control and
removed. Droppings are to be cleaned
up by owner. If you do not clean up
after your pet you will be asked to leave the park.
