An individual may search Death and Marriage records at no charge
on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays--no Wednesday research.
Due
to limited space and staffing shortages, genealogists will be allowed to work in the office on
a first-come, first-serve basis; and the office is not open for research
between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. No children are allowed.
Birth records for genealogy are only available when the birth
occurred 100 years ago, or more, to any applicant. A birth record that
is less than 100 years old can only be obtained by an heir-with proof of
death.
Only certified copies of records can be purchased.
