Health Screenings

The Commission on Aging is in the process of developing our new wellness programming.  We plan to offer a variety of wellness programs from foot-care clinics to ask a pharmacist, to various exercise classes for seniors of all abilities.

Beginning in December 2006, we will team up with Heartland Hospice to provide Blood Pressure Clinics at four locations in Newaygo County.  These FREE clinics will be available at the following locations each month and are open to all Newaygo County residents, on a first come / first served basis.

Merrill Township Hall   First Monday of each month            11:30 - 12:30     White Cloud -COA      Second Thursday of each month      10:30 - 12:30 Newaygo St. Barts      Third Tuesday of each month           10:30 - 11:30 Fremont - NCCS         Fourth Wednesday of each month    10:30 - 12:00
